Kawabata yasunari as Japan’s first Nobel Prize winner, his work and life has been widely studied. Academia generally accepted Kawabata literature plays an indelible role on inheriting and developing traditional Japanese beauty. It is easy to see, under the influence of "Ancient and modern waka", "genji" and other classic literature, traditional Japanese aesthetic consciousness in Kawabata literary career have thick and heavy colors, even in the time of New Feeling Genre representative writers activity participation, a series of works are floating with rich aroma of Japanese traditional literature."The beauty" the basic forgotten work originally published in daily news in Fukuoka in April 1927. Although we do not know the real reason why it could not be spread, in February 2013, Fukuoka city library staff’s finding again provides a new perspective on the study of Kawabata. From the perspective of the published time of the novel, "The beauty" was created in the key nodes of the New Feeling Genre’s declining and in the period the representative writers did not know what to do. As a "deviationist" in New Feeling Genre, Kawabata had a foresee on the declining. Here, "The beauty" and the contemporaneous representative work "dance woman of izu" both embody “melancholy”,“mysterious” and other traditional Japanese aesthetic consciousness. However,in "The beauty" we still see the shadow of neo-perceptionalism in some detail description. We can say it is Kawabata’s endeavor that made his intent change, innovation found himself a place in the literary world in Japan literature. The paper will aim at the above part to make concrete study of the third and fourth chapter. In addition, in the paper, the chapter5 will transfer intention to content and role definition. The emotional line of “parents’ love to sons, it’s profound” is obviously different from Kawabata’s other representative works’. We could say the direct expression to kinship is infrequent in his other representative works in his literature career which it is not hard to find Kawabata’s worry and fear to bring up children. The paper will make a comprehensive and detail analysis through the work "The beauty", so as to explore Kawabata’s aesthetic consciousness at that time, to confirm the work crucial position in Kawabata literature.
