The thesis contains four parts except of introduction and conclusion. It will focus on Feng and Ya in The Book of Songs to analyze its pursuit consciousness.ChapterⅠThe pursuit consciousness and primitive ideology. The pursuit consciousness is a common theme on literature. From the view of psychoanalysis, this phenomenon not only has a relationship with the personal unconscious, it also contacts tightly with the collective unconscious and could trace back to mythological literature. As far back as mythological period in China, the positive pursuit consciousness has already taken root deeply, which have a permanent impact to the spiritual culture and literature for descendant.Chapter ⅡThe emotional targets in The Book of Songs. Most of the poems in The Book of Songs are ballad. They record the poet’s lives and perceptions sincerely, together with the trace of pursuit. For the perfect love, valentines fall into sentimental missing and couples hope to stay with each other. The ideal of flourishing age makes the monarch thirst after talents and arouses people criticize the society. When leaving the native place, both of the married women and conscription call the warm of hometown.Chapter ⅢThe aesthetic design in The Book of Songs. According to the creation of Wang Guowei, The Book of songs contains both characteristics of concentrating on state and creating atmosphere. Besides that, some poems focus on expressing the emotion directly and plainly. In addition, the poems also base on water’s characteristic to create the water imago, so that the imago could has the effect of both carrying and preventing emotion.Chapter The effect of purⅣ suit consciousness on poems in Qin and Han Dynasties. The Songs of Chu and Yuefu songs of the Han dynasty with Nineteen Ancient Poems are another classical literature after The Book of Songs. All of them absorb their realism and lyricism from varying degrees, and then merge with their own region styles. As a wonderful literature work, The Songs of Chu creates a new world for mankind with God together. Then Yuefu songs of the Han dynasty with Nineteen Ancient Poems inherit the folk song’s style. They restore the thought of the scholars to the whole society and also pullulate with the narrative skills.
