Mori Ogai is considered to be, along Natsume Soseki, matchless in the context of Japanese modern literature. He left a lot of his works that he has written during his lifetime. After writing the "Suicidal note of OkitsuYaGoemon", the inspiration for this work being the fact that he had been affected by the martyrdom of the general, he begins to write a number of historical novels, transforming himself into a historical novelist rather than a modernist. Because Mori Ogai wrote numerous novels about the samurai society, I tend to believe that Bushido had a special meaning for him.In this paper, "Okitsuyagoemon’s suicide note", "Abe ichizoku" "Sahashijingoro" and "the Sakai incident" was taken up from MoriOgai’s historical novels recorded in "pride". Though the four pieces of historical novels, we can see Moriogai’s recognition about Bushido. The "Okitsuyagoemon’s suicide note " is descriped a absolute loyalty Lord. In the "Abeichizoku", MoriOgai draw the lord who is forced to die by the other people’s abuse. In the "Sahashijingoro" he drawed the new lord of who has the independent and the spirit of resistance. In the "Sakai incident" which is happened in the Meiji period, there are 20 soldiers who are not spare their life for the country’s.A samurai in the rendered image of each piece, it reflected Moriogai’srecognization about the bushido spirit. Analyzed the image of their samurai warriors, we can know Moriogai’s Attitude to busido was considered from two aspects of the negative attitude and attitude positive aspects.
