| Jiapingwa is an important writer with a unique personality of Chinese contemporary literature. He began his novel creation presents from aesthetic to the aesthetics of ugliness in the 90s. Form "Fei Du" to epic "Qin Qiang" early into the new century. Whether in rural or urban themes, he described the ugly one after another. This extremely significant change in the aesthetic idea is worthy of attention. This article is trying to comb the phenomenon of ugliness in this period of his novels and explain its characteristics and value.This article is divided into four parts to discuss the creation of Jiapingwa about ugliness in these period. The first chapter will from three aspects to explain why his creations began describing the ugly.These three aspects are the personal interests and life experiences(including low self-esteem、patient mentality、ugly rapist)、influenced by western literature and the realistic context of social transformation. The second chapter will combine with works to explain the specific performance of ugliness in his novels, mainly from four aspects to analysis those are human nature ugly、images ugly、language ugly、the ugly and the art form. The third chapter compare his works with the works of Canxue, who is a famous writer at the same time as JiaPingwa, to highlight the characteristics of reality and daily of the novels of Jia Pingwa. The last chapter from the critical function of the ugly,the ugly of the orthodox social evaluation system of the subversion and other aspects to illustrates the value of his novels.On the whole, this paper as "ugly" is the breakthrough point, combing the specific performance of the ugly creation in this period in Jia Pingwa’s Novels, exploring the reasons of the transformation of aesthetic object and the characteristics and value of the text of ugliness. To make up for the shortcomings of previous studies from the point of ugliness, make a comprehensive and detailed research on Jia Pingwa at the turn of the century novels. |
