Tie Ning is a female writer, with her creative strength showing the achievements of women’s literature. Writer Tie Ning is famous for the fresh and meaningful style on literary circles, such as Night Road, Fragrant Snow, The Red Shirt without Buttons and other works published in the early years, in which show the innocence and beauty of young women with poetic language, filled with natural refined romanticism and fresh poetic. From the mid-1980s, Tie Ning began to examine the historical destiny and realistic situation of women with cold deep eyes in her works, such as Rose Door, The Opposite, Rainless City and The Bathing Woman, depicting a series of complex, distorted and sometimes ugly female image. In these works, Tie Ning shows women’s deep desire and subject consciousness, reveals the deep relationship between the growth of women and gender order, and describes the rise of female consciousness and construction as well as the difficult process of self-realization, in a more distinct gender perspective and humanistic position. Her novel reflects the strong humanistic care and distinctive modern consciousness, in a sense, reaches the height of contemporary female literature creation.This paper analyzes the special connotation of female growth, including the concept of bildungsroman, the cultural connotation, critical theme, narrative strategies and narrative features of Tie Ning’s bildungsroman.The first part is introduction, mainly expounds the cause and significance of researching Tie Ning’s female bildungsroman, and briefly reviews the academic research situation of Tie NingThe second part is the main content of this paper, including the first, the second, the third and the fourth chapter.The first chapter, briefly describes the relationship between the growth theme and Tie Ning’s novel creation, discusses the development course of growth theme in women writing, explores the special connotation of female growth, and briefly teases the transformation of Chinese and western bildungsroman’s concept.The second chapter from the perspective of cultural connotations and critical perspective, on the basis of the feminist theory and social value concept system, to analyze the relationship between family members in the Tie Ning’s bildungsroman. In the text, the woman attitude towards her father is double, there are both attachment and review. In the Tie Ning’s bildungsroman, mother imagined shape also has a dual nature, not only the traditional mother’s praise, but also the mother of ugliness. There are both contradictory and dependent between sisters, from different ways to discuss the sisterhood in detail.The third chapter from the perspective of women own growth perspective, analyse the narrative strategies of Tie Ning bildungsroman. For a long time, women’s bodies have been the object of shielded. Tie Ning breakthroughs traditional writing, and describes women’s bodies and desire, showing women in the cultural constraints of depressed growth. Tie Ning’s memory of the cultural revolution as a social background in the novel, this article attempts to the cultural revolution period of special social status to show women’s alternative growth. The third aspect from the negative effect of female themselves to reflect the difficulty in the process of growth.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the narrative characteristics of Tie Ning’s bildungsroman, analyzing Tie Ning’s unique narrative charm in aspect of the meticulous selection of imagery, the use of visual angle, complement of person, and the variable expression of language.The last part is the conclusion, in which summarizes Tie Ning’s female bildungsroman, makes evaluation of Tie Ning’s exploration of female growth, and prospects the writing of female growth.Overall, the paper is analyzed the ideological content and artistic forms of Tie Ning’s female bildungsroman, and feel the special growth process of women.
