In his transitory art life of 26 years, the British Artist Aubrey Beardsley has left t he successors a surprising number of wonderful illustrations created by his astonishin g art expression within a weak body. The so claimed “absurd”, “depraved”, even “baw dy” black and white decorative paintings brought the audience stunning visual feasts. Under the direction of eastern painting patterns, the painter presented diversified bl ack and white line drawings in a “sparse happy, airtight” way, which have greatly wea ken the brilliance of any color. His illustrations were full of the century’s frights and e vils, which clearly expressed his averse and sarcasm to The British era of Victoria. Th e encounter with Wilde has fulfilled the Artist Aubrey Beardsley. However, the arrest of Wilde brought him misfortune. Rumors said that the two met in 1987 in a hotel, an d then died one after another. Beardsley only left the immortal art “Salome” to us, whi ch shocked the world. In this monumental work, the artist has left a lot of metaphors: his subtle signature, the decorations here and there in the painting exposed Aubrey Be ardsley’s inner path of mentality, influenced by his background and the temper of the t ime. Without a word, he used the painting brush expressed his embrace of beauty and the refusal to accept those evil. The painting also showed the creator’s strong inner spi ritual world, and his endless pursuit of goodness.
