A Study On The Embodiment Of Minority Complex In The Creation Of Concrete

This topic just coincides with my final project. I discuss the inspiration of my creation and the "national minority complex" that I am interested by this topic.This unique national complex is where the soul of my work lies in, and the spiritual connotation expressed in the work is what I always focus on. As a Muslim, I especially focus on the living condition of my nationality and other national minorities, and to create a sculpture themed in national minority with positive attitude, with warmth, with depth, which appeals for peace and is filled with positive energy, is what I always pursue. After several communications with my supervisor, finally I determine to preliminarily attempt to complete two sets of wood carving, which expresses "Muslim’s custom and culture", by wood carving techniques and language. To improve the national cohesion of spectators by artistic appreciation has important cultural value and practical significance to country and society.
