Dream of the Red Chamber,one of the four major classical novels in China,is not only a great long novel but also a great encyclopedia.The TV serial of Dream of the Red Chamber(1987 version)is very popular from home and abroad,and it plays a very important role to publicize the aesthetic ideology and literary accomplishment in the book.At the same time,the Red Chamber music is also loved by people,and many experts in Red Chamber begin to analyze and study in this field.Red Chamber music endows the characters with personality,and make the TV serial more artistic and appealing.This paper has three parts.First,the music of Dream of the Red Chamber,and the introduction of Lin Daiyu.Second,the study of the music for Lin Daiyu.Third,analyze the singing processing of the music for Lin Daiyu.On the basis of the study of “Three Poems on the Handkerchief”,”Windy and rainy autumn evening by the window”,”The song of burying flower”and the Red Chamber music of Wang Liping,the author combines her own singing experience to explore the deep meaning and artistic characteristics of the Red Chamber Music.
