Ronakkayan Accordion Works "Portrait Of Stravinsky" Performance Analysis

Volodymyr Runchak is a famous accordionist, conductor, and also is one of the most famous contemporary composers in Ukraine.He is a very prolific composer,writing a lot of compositions for solo, chorus, orchestra and chamber music of various genres, which many of his works in the International Music Festival have been played. Portraits of composers, suite №1 for solo accordion is a typical of the free bass accordion masterpiece, which contains Bachiana-Mediationen uber B-A-C-H, Imitation to D·Shostakovich, Near the portrait of N·Paganini, Devoted to I·Stravinsky the four movements, Devoted to I·Stravinsky is the last piece, and also I think that it is the most valuable one of all.This article will mainly describe music ontology analysis of the composition as the main line, to have an in-depth and meticulous research, thus summing up the characteristics of the work and the style of music, and playing techniques involved in the work to make a detailed analysis.The first part is the introduction of Runchak and the background of Devoted to I·Stravinsky: first, the composer Runchak’s biography; Second, from the composers and the background of the composition and other aspects,combined with the understanding of stravinsky by Runchak to grasp the overall work.The second part is the ontology research of Devoted to I·Stravinsky ’s, from the ideological connotation of music to its formal structure, melody, texture, rhythm and other aspects to carry on the analysis, and on this basis, form a summary of the composition characteristics and style characteristics of works.The third part is the analysis of some main playing technique. Playing techniques involved in comprehensive paper, mainly based on the author’s own B system free bass accordion playing keyboard experience, to make the corresponding play prompt in such aspects as music treatment and technology application.
