To be the 11th generation discipline of Longmen school in Complete Reality school of Taoism, Liu Yiming went through Yong Zheng、Qian Long、Jia Qing and Dao Guang four Dynasty, he searched for the way and immortality throughout his life, he revised and wrote many books which called 《Twelve kinds of Taoist Scriptures》has been canonized by inner alchemy Taoist since Jia Qing Dynasty. Liu Yiming’s thought of inner alchemy use concise and natural writing technique, his thought of inner alchemy including the syncretism of the three doctrines、Essence and life、the methods of cultivation of out of the secularity, his self-created the method of Yin Yang and vacant space have a strong influence on Taoism.This article based on 《Twelve kinds of Taoist Scriptures》, analyzed the ontology and cosmology, Liu Yiming’s thought of inner alchemy including the syncretism of the three doctrines, essence and life, the methods of cultivation of out of the secularity.Though his syncretism of the three doctrines, Taoism is a stand because of thought of essence and life, in order to complete Tai Chi, Taoist need to training "Xu Wu Zhi Xing"after training "Tian Fu Zhi Xing"。The "Xu Wu Zhi Xing" is actually extremely push "Hou Tian" to "Xian Tian".He created "the methods of cultivation of out of the secularity", actually change the "out of the secularity" into "mix with ordinary society and integrate illumination", Taoist do not need to withdraw from society and live in solitude and walk out on their families, whether in the mortal life or in the government". Although this innovation have not panned out as expected, Liu Yiming’s thought of inner alchemy is still the monument of Taoism. |
