As an important role in the field of Second Language Acquisition, negotiation of meaning has attracted varieties of scholars at home and abroad and it also obtained lots of achievements. Comprehensible input and pushed output, as the two vital aspects of negotiation of meaning, also conduce to remarkable efficiency during the period of learning second language. This paper researches and analyzes ten groups of native speakers and non-native speakers who use two-way communication task to chat with each other, in order to summarize the types of comprehensible input and pushed output. Then based on these types, this article also presents related suggestions about how to utilize these types in teaching Chinese in the future.This article is separated into four chapters.Chapter I is literature review. This chapter introduces the development process of negotiation of meaning and summarizes some researches about negotiation of meaning at home and abroad.Chapter II is research method. This part presents the research methods, analysis method and also defines the concepts of comprehensible input and pushed output.Chapter III are research findings and discussions. In this chapter, researcher analyses 10 groups of native speakers and non-native speakers who communicate with each other in natural situation. producing negotiation of meaning and the types of comprehensible input and pushed output.Chapter IV are conclusions and teaching enlightenment. This chapter demonstrates some suggestions about how Chinese teachers use the types of comprehensible input and pushed output in their class one day.This study wishes that more and more Chinese teachers are able to find and to make use of the types of comprehensible input and pushed output in their class. meanwhile, this article is expected to shed light on Chinese negotiation of meaning in the field of second language acquisition.
