| The Chinese is a nation of exquisite heritage and development,the theory of “great unified governance”,which was put forward by Chinese Confucianism, played a significant role in the territory expansion and extension, social change and development, alternation of generations of ancient China. “Great unified governance” has guided and inspired people to create peaceful reunification of the country, to achieve social stability and national unity.Dong Zhongshu’s political thoughts occupied an important position in ancient history.He founded the “great unified governance” theory, not only played a positive role on maintaining the feudal political unification, but also had a significant influence on the fusion of political thoughts in feudal society. “Great unified governance” is the core spirit of Dong Zhongshu’s thoughts, it mainly includes three aspects of unified, covers the ideological, political and national connotation of unified thoughts respectively. The characteristics of Dong’s unified thought is that it creats the "new Confucianism" of han dynasty which fuses the heaven-human induction,Yin Yang five elements, mohism, legalism and Taoism theory together. The "new Confucianism" obtained the dominant position of ideological circle by maintaining centralized despotism, meeting the need of unification, and combining with political reality more directly. Historically, “Great unified governance” was the evaluation focus of Dong’s political thoughts. This paper begins from the origin of “great unified governance”, bases on han dynasty’s society characteristics, goes deep into the “great unified governance” step by step. This paper mainly through the preliminary reading of "tian ren san ce" and "chun qiu fan lu", try to make a systematic discussion and research of “Great unified governance”, in order to form the objective evaluation of Dong Zhongshu’s political philosophy, show its time spirit and history meaning. |
