| The brief tourist spot introduction, as one sub-genre of tourism advertising, plays a very important role in the development of tourism industry, Liaoning is no exception.But there is little study of Liaoning brief tourist spot introduction. In order to provide better application of the relative genre analysis theory for improving the writing quality of Liaoning brief tourist spot introduction, and promoting the development of Liaoning tourism, this article uses the method of quantitative and qualitative analysis,comprising a small corpus of 80 pieces of Liaoning brief tourist spot introduction amounting to 50004 Chinese characters gathered from the Internet, and two books published by Normal Tourism Press. The article adopts an integrated theoretical framework, which comes from the move theory from Swales and Bhatia and the GSP theory from Hasan. Based on the small corpus, the article analyzes the move structure,dissects the discourse structure, classifies the obligatory moves and optional moves and thoroughly explains their functions, then concludes the strategies employed in particular moves. The analysis of the small corpus shows that 1) there are 7 moves in the brief tourist spot introduction of Liaoning to realize the specific communicative purpose; 2) The study worked out a basically logical structure of the texts reflected from GSP of Liaoning brief tourist spot introduction; 3) the language of Liaoning brief tourist spot introduction has its unique features. The study also provides a new angle of view and enlightenment for ESP teaching, and provides reference for other genre researches, so the study has its practical application value. |
