William Gibson is of the most influential science fiction writer, His Neuromancer is regarded as the Bible of cyberpunk and marks the Science fiction entry into the electronic age.His "Matrix Trilogy" Cyberpunk novels fully reflect the cultural characteristics of postmodernism.It is an essential topic to cyberpunk novels, which is the criticism of science and technology, technical rationality due to the exposing to human alienation and materialization,Cyberpunk novels inherit the essence of humanism dystopian novel.Cyberspace is based on electronic technology and virtual reality technology, is a kind of network information dissemination of new social media space,it shows us the situation of human existence in the Posthuman era.:Artificial intelligence, computer networking invaded people’s lives,real and virtual, artificial intelligence and the concept of tradition binary oppositions is dispelled.Cyberpunk novels through building an imaginary reality profound revealed the loneliness, anxiety and alienation of human in the post-modern context.Cyborg appears to us to begin to question the status of the human body.Cyberspace is the dystopian world of concrete, and Cyborg is a product of dystopian world under the technical rule.In this society, science and technology is the dominant, people just ants technology under the rule.In the hijacking of cyberspace,Humans will eventually demise.Gibson’s cyberpunk novel reveals the essence of dystopian thoughts of cyberpunk novels and triggers human reflection on technology and their own, such as do not be controlled by technological rationality, do not to be manipulated by totalitarianism.
