Based on this, this paper will take the Qujing dietculture protection andthe protection of intangible cultural heritage as an example, analysis of the scope ofthe role of the government in the protection of intangible cultural heritage and thespecific functions of the.First of all, the specific functions of some dietary non-governmental culturalheritage protection activities in order, to the specific functions as the breakthroughpoint, by means of protection policy and protection mode,roughly divided into thefollowing three core functions: principal comanagement function, market supervision,social participation and coordination function.Secondly, through description the Qujing diet culture, the government has takenmeasures to protect, analyzes the present situation of the implementation of threekinds of government protection function and existing problems. Secondly, government should improvethe market supervision functions, and actively organize the festival tourismsupervision,industrial development appropriate to the diet culture.
