Since reform and opening up,China’s socialist construction hasmade great achievements.In the making at the same time,manysocial contradictions and problems have emerged.China no longerregard the “taking class struggle as key link”as the theme ofnational political life since the third plenary session of theeleventh,but the deep-rooted opinion still affect our daily life moreor less.We need to return the basic class concept of Marx and Engelsand Mao Zedong’s understanding of class, the basic concept aboutdealing with class issue,historical process,lessons learned and so onin order to solve various contradictions and problems in the modernsociety,to find whether they were relate to class problems,or whetherthey were class problems or not and such questions.This paperprovide the theoretical support for solve the problem of social realityby studying Mao Zedong’s concept of class and its practicalapplication in Chinese society.It has a certain practical significance to study Mao Zedong’sclass concept and achievements and failures of its application andguide us to handle the relationship between each class at presentstage.We need change the research questions’starting point whichunder the effect of “left”errors and turn to the angle of classcooperation study under the condition of a new era.This paperbreakthrough the limitation of past thinking about class struggle andobserves,analyzes,solves problems from the view of classcooperation.The research of this paper has certain theoreticalsignificance of the theory of Marx and Engels class relations.This paper mainly uses three analysis methods as follows:first,historical materialism,guide by the basic principle ofMarxism,from the perspective of historical materialism to observeand study the problem;second,materialistic dialectics,see a problemwith contact,development perspective,concrete analysis of concreteproblems,insist on everything from set out actually,theory withpractice,seeking truth from facts;third,literature researchmethod,through the collection related essays,books,letters and otherprimary sources of Mao Zedong and his contemporaries, andanalyses and summarizes in recent years,research on relevantliterature,periodicals,papers etc.of Mao Zedong’s concept of classand its application to fully know well about and the Mao Zedong’sconcept of class and its research status.This paper includes the following four parts:the first partdiscusses the background of Mao Zedong’s class concept through theanalysis of Marx and Engels view of class and class concept of thecommunist party of china leaders and the historical position and thefacing task of China;the second part studies the Mao Zedong’s classconcept and its application before the founding of the PRC;the thirdpart explores the changes and the resulting consequences of MaoZedong’s class concept and its application;the forth part builds onthe former three parts and concludes the experiences of success andfailure of Mao Zedong’s class concept and its application,discussesthe enlightenment to the construction of socialist modernization withChinese characteristics.This paper concludes that it is important to pay attention to thenew changes of class and deal with their relationship through theanalysis of Mao Zedong’s class concept and its application.Giving up the thinking model of class struggle,instead of the thinkingmodel of class cooperation.Socialist Modernization need to mobilizeall positive factors and cooperate with every class.Class cooperationis also the intrinsic requirement to realize the Chinese dream,thegreat rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
