A Study On The Quality Of People 's Mediation In Grassroots Community

Recently years, lots of people focus on the community mediating, these focus are not only from legislature department, judicial department and executive department, but also the field of academy. There are several reasons why lots people focus on the mediation work of the community. The first one is that the society needs the distinctive value of the people’s mediation and the second is that this work should be do more perfect and continue to develop. With the discussion and research, lots of reasonable and useful opinions have been come up by people from different perspective.This theses first combines with the conception of definite of community, mediation of resident and the quality of the mediation, uses the theory of total quality management (TQM)、person-in-environment and community studies to explain current phenomenon and developing process of the community work. Then take the community of Wangchun Street, Haishu area, and Ningbo city as an example, analysis the quality and the reason about the current mediation work of the community. Author thinks if we can rethink the function of people’s mediation under the construction macroscopic multi-dispute solving system and then solve the current quality problem of the elementary community mediation work and this work maybe makes its best function under self-control environment. So, with the value of the quality research about the mediation work of the elementary community, the author provides some suggestion for the insufficiency and difficulty of the mediation work and appoints the direction of the mediation work to improve the quality of that work.
