Research On Citizen Culture Construction In China From The Perspective Of Deliberative Democracy

The construction of the civic culture is an important aspect of the development of thecultural construction of our country and even the whole society. Compared with the concept ofculture construction in general, the concept of construction of civic culture is not only a processof knowledge of a concept, values, morality. The discourse about deliberative democracy in thereport at18th Party Congress marks the deliberative democracy in China is not only ademocratic theory paradigm, but also is a new form of political system formally established. As akind of culture generally recognized in political field, civic culture is highly coupled wit thedemocratic system. It improves the development of the national economy, growth of the wholesocial structure and has a connection with social system. And more, as a cultural behaviorsubject of citizenship, it also has a close relationship with civic consciousness and ability.In this paper, with the help of deliberative democracy and civic culture research result, fullydig a deep link between them from macro to micro, theoretical connotation to concrete practical.Based on the practical difficulties of civic culture construction in China, we should analyzereasons and find out the problem, thus further explore the target analysis and path selection ofthe construction of civic culture. In such a thinking of writing, this paper comprehensive andsystematic analyzes the construction of our country civic culture in the perspective ofdeliberative democracy.This thesis is divided into six sections. The first chapter is introduction part, based on thestudy on the cultural construction of our country citizen from the perspective of deliberativedemocracy, it mainly includes the background and significance, the domestic and foreignresearch review, writing method, the difficulty and the innovation point. The second chaptermainly expounds the basic overview of deliberative democracy and civic culture, mainlyincludes the meaning, characteristic, value and so on. Based on the perspective of deliberativedemocracy, the third chapter expounds the intrinsic link of deliberative democracy and civicculture from macroscopic and microcosmic way. In the fourth chapter summarizes the dilemmasand analyzes reasons in the construction of civic culture of our country in three major areas:economic, political, cultural and social. The fifth chapter, on the basis of the fourth chapter, puts forward and analyzes the construction goal of civic culture in our country. Specific include: todemocracy and the rule of law as the premise, with political consensus based, with the socialistcore value system as the content, in good faith, harmonious characterized by political rationalityfor security. The sixth chapter analyzes the way how to construct the civic culture of our country,and indicate the direction of construction of civic culture.
