Research On The New University Library Information Resources Construction

To meet the standards of undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education, the new university library(NUL) shows up a phenomenon of anxious for success and blindly seeking quick, only seeking for quantity of library Information resources, neglecting the most basic principle of information resources construction.This thesis investigates many books, periodicals, databases and websites about research on scientific concept of developmentthe of newly upgraded college library Information resources onstruction. The thesis includes six parts:The first part proposed the introduction, including the papers' background and significance, current research situation, the information resources construction definition and contents,research ideas and methods, the concept of development, and the innovation.The second part introdues the current situation of the NUL information resources construction, including the current situation of the NUL information and the problems of the NUL information resources construction.The thirds part introduces general requirements of the scientific concept of development guiding the information resources construction of the NUL, including the first essential meaning of the information resources construction of the NUL is the development, the core is human orientation, requirements is comprehensively coordinated sustainably, basic method is unified planning.The fourth part introduces the work methods of the NUL information resources construction, including the strategy of library document collection, electronic publications collection, network information resources construction, and information resources co-operation construction and sharing. These work methods integrates scientific concept of development, and corrects the wrong work methods of the NUL information resources construction.I hope my study can put forward a guiding idea for the information resources construction of the NUL, quest a way for the construction and development of the NUL.
