Research On Multi-parameter Testing Technology Of Laser Damage

With the optical technology development, there is high demand of optical media materials.Therefore, detection of optical components is of great significance.This paper focuses on the research of laser damage of optical media materials, describes the damage mechanism of optical media material, the determine method of laser damage, testing methods of laser damage, threshold of laser damage and the plasma characteristics. In this paper, it mainly discussed the laser damage of the glass medium, analyzed the various judging methods of optical damage, discussed influence of various testing methods and laser parameters on the glass medium injury.The corresponding line detection of laser damage system is built up. It mainly detected laser damage threshold of K8, K9 glass, observed through a variety of ways to determine the damage of the glass medium and do some corresponding analysis. The experiment proves that using plasma emission spectrometry,laser transmission optical microscopy detection, all phase microscopy line detection system effectively determine laser damage on glass media.
