| At the roads intersections of cities,especially urban outskirt and the crossings of major road and minor road,we offen see such a phinomena:in the direction of red traffic signal lamp,there are so many vehicle,however,in the direction of green signal lamp,there only few vehicle even nothing.Apparently,this is inappropriate.The altimate cause s is that the traffic signal is controled mechanically in the mode of timing.In view of above situation,this paper puts forth a traffic signal lamp real-time self-adaptive control project based on image processing and DSP,and has designed the hardware system based on DSP and PLC.It acquires vedio pictures that reflect the situation of traffic with CCD vidicon,then,mark out the area due to process,gains vehicles information by means of backgroud substraction,eventually controls the timing and change of traffic signal lamp according to the difference of vehicles number at relative phases of the road intersection and the designed control strategy,realizes self-adaptive control.Experiment proves that this system is good at real time,extension and so on. |
