The Development Of Automatic Assessment System For Ship Electric Power Plant Operation Based On C#

This thesis introduces the development process of "the Ship Power Plant Automatic Assessment System ". This system is also called "the Automatic Scoring System of Crew Ship Power Plant Assessment Examination". It is a set of software running in a PC which can automatically assess ship power plant operation of 2nd/3rd engineer:set the topic, rate according the answer or operation result. Different from other common automatic assessment system, this system is connected to the ship power plant equipment, rather than based on computer simulation or engine simulator. The PC of assessment gets real-time data of ship power plant by communications and then analyzes and calculates, gives the assessment result.The research routing of the assessment system is:confirm the target of design, analyze and assess assessment rules; analyze and assess the assessment items, examinees, equipments; confirm the overall plan (assessment mode and method, types of subjects); establish mathematics model of evaluation system; design subjects and assessment standards in detail; program and test in running, improve, and etc. At each stage, the researching mainly involves the following aspects:training and examination methods of the crew assessment; assessment content of ship power plant operation; the modularized construction of power plant & data communications; fuzzy comprehensive assessing in automatic scoring; the C# and SQL Server2000 database application program based on the .NET platform and etc. How the PC of assessment obtaining operating data is an important content in software programming:the PPU of generator sends data to S7 300 PLC through PROFIBUS; then PLC sends these data & its own switching value to upper PC through MPI bus. The PC of assessment is connected to the upper PC and then gets the above data.This assessment system scores rapidly and accurately, with friendly interface and stable operating of computer. The automatic scoring of manual synchronizing, load sharing and frequency adjusting, load shifting and switching off are the key of researching, which using the fuzzy comprehensive assessing method. According to testing, this system has achieved the design requirement, and can automatically score correctly and rapidly in crewmember assessment, and also can be used in training for self-testing or self-studying.
