The aim of the image edge detection is not only to separate the high-frequency signal from the image, but also to distinguish the edges and noise, calibrate accurately the position of the edge. In order to detect the edge of an image polluted Seriously by noise, we should maintain the image edge features well while remove the noise effectively. The traditional edge detection methods can not solve this problem very well. Morphological edge extraction algorithm are better than traditional methods in continuity and isotropy. The key of the morphological algorithm used to extract the image edge is the choise of structural elements. Single structural elements morphological edge detection algorithm is not a good image edge extraction method for the complex image, and the effect of the single-scale structuring element edge detection is not ideal. In this paper,a new morphological edge detection operator is presented and used to detect image edge. The adjustment of edge information is performed using multi-structuring elements and multi-scale morphological structure elements. The algorithm is not only the fine edge gathered, but also the noise restrainted well. The expenrimental results show the this algorithm is better than the classic ones。...
