| At present, many pipelines are widely used to contain and transport the compressed gas in the industry and in the life.The device of gas momement which is connected and controlled is composed by various valves. However, for different reasons, leak accidents may often occur on these valves, which could cause not only loss of energy but also pollution environment if the gas are noxious.Hence, the detection of the valve leakage is very important to the safety of the industry.The purpose of the paper is to develop a wireless device which is to detect the valve leakage.The device acquisitions ultrasonic wave, generated by valve leakage, then deal with it using digital signal processing technology.And finally, the detection of valve leakage is achieved by judging the strength of leakage according to the spectrum.The device is introduced in detail from hardware to software aspects respectively.The hardware uses modular structure which can be plugged directly, and the software uses sleep mode to reduce power consumption.The host computer is designed by the configuration software, the wireless connection with device could be achieved by ZigBee technology.Finally, through on-line debugging and industrial field trials, the device can achieve the wireless detection of valve leakage which meets the worker's need of real-time monitoring. |
