With the rapid development of Internet, complexity of network computing is increasing, and the Semantic Web which makes the computer understanding of the characteristics of network information reciveves attention widely. Based on the characteristics such as large-scale, high-dynamic, loosely-coupled, self-manage, by the Semantic Web, the computer can manage the information well when people are sharing the knowledge on the Web. Semantic-based knowledge pub/sub system has these characteristics, and becomes an important middleware platform of the new computing. Among them, the owl-based knowledge description, inference rules, knowledge publishing/subscription, knowledge queries, and the racer/jena-based knowledge reasoning have developed well. People can get the more accurate information through the owl-description, and get the potential related information through the owl-reasoning. And one of the hot research is how to mining knowledge communities in the pub/sub system on the records that the system collected.CIKP(Construction Information and Knowledge Protocol/Portal) is a knowledge pub/sub system based on B/S structure. In this paper, on the development of the system, an automated method of mining knowledge community is put to identify the potential communities. This paper describes CIKP framework, and then with the pub/sub information of users, mines the communities by a method called Directed Bipartite Graph Core., finally, it also presents some issues and future prospects.
