CIMS for process industry is built on computer technology, communication technology, automation technology and a variety of production technologies. It is an integrated automation system consisting of process control and enterprise management. In the research and application of CIMS, the modeling and simulation technology has exactly played a very important role. CIMS usually consists of three levels including ERP, MES and PCS. And traditional modeling and simulation method only focused on the needs of a particular level, which always led to big inconsistency interoperability problems between the simulation systems in different levels, and it's hard for these subsystems to work together and support enterprise-level integrated automation application. Therefore, an in-depth study for multi-level integration modeling and simulation of process industry is of great significance. In this article, based on the simulation modeling process industry demand and multi-level multi-resolution modeling principle, we will make a deep research on the Integration of multi-level business process modeling and simulation applications problems. And aim to establish a distributed multi-level integrated simulation platform to support true production management. The main contents of this thesis are as follows:In Chapter 1, Summary of the modeling and simulation of process industry background, and integrated modeling and simulation application status are discussed. Then a brief overview of multi-resolution modeling method theoretical research are provided, which is key to integrated modeling and simulation.Later, this paper's research objectives and innovative points are presented. In Chapter 2, Building background and objectives of the integrated simulation platform for multi-levels are presented. And around the three-layer structure of CIPS, the contents of the integrated system simulation platform and the overall framework are designed in detail. In Chapter 3, According to the multi-resolution hierarchy information model and the object-oriented modeling and distributed simulation modeling method, and through the three basic information and simulation modeling strategy for process industries, these are the process of information modeling, data modeling and spatial and temporal aggregation-mapping, thus achieving the realization of a multi-level integrated simulation modeling factory instance. In Chapter 4, detailed implementation process for multi-level simulation platform is presented. After the case design and calculation of the simulation experiment, we compared the results of the simulation running on a multi-level simulation platform for the validation of the accuracy and consistency for the simulation models. In Chapter 5, A new stratified scheduling optimization method based on process simulation is proposed here in order to deal with scheduling execution problems in process industry. This case aapplication has proved the effectiveness of the simulation platform for business applications. In Chapter 6, the thesis is concluded with a summary and the questions which need further research in the future are also discussed.
