The function of the pointer instrument data collection of intelligent is achieved by the pointer type instrument data intelligent acquisition system. This paper is designed based on DSP pointer instrument intelligent data acquisition system, which can be applied to the acquisition of the smart meter data and intrument industry.This paper analyzes the insufficiency of current artificially readings, the development of instrument identification equipment based on image processing,the feasibility of using Hough transform to realize intelligent acquisition and instrumentation is proposed based on DSP pointer type instrument intelligent data acquisition system design scheme. The design methods of each part hardware circuit are analyzed and the circuit parameters calculation is completed according to the image acquisition, data processing, displaying information, data storage and data transmission. Designed by the core processor module, FLASH and SDRAM storage circuit module, image acquisition module, LCD display module, buttons module, speech broadcast module and RS232 transmission module system consisting of hardware platform. The software system is developed under the Visual DSP++ integrated environment, and implements keyboard processing, image collection, TFT screen display, voice broadcast and serial communication.This paper selects a kind of pyrometer for example, The results show that the platform is stable, easy to use, the compatibility of software is good; this system data accuracy is far higher than that of artificial readings. The design specifications meet the design requirements.
