| With its simple structure, low probability of intercept, without blind area in range and high range resolution, the linear frequency moudulation continuous wave (LFMCW) radar has attracted more and more attention recently. It has been an important topic in the radar research field. The theory and critical techniques relating to LFMCW radar have developed rapidly. Low altitude target designation radar signal processing system under consideration adopts toothed LFMCW radar system. In this paper the key methods of target detection and software implementation in DSP(ADSP-TS201S) about toothed LFMCW are studied.This paper firstly introduces the system structure and principle of LFMCW radar and the basic methods of the distance, speed and angle measurement of toothed LFMCW radar. The paper aslo analyses the key approaches to target detection and its simulation of toothed LFMCW radar, such as moving target indication, moving target detection, constant false alarm ratio detection, and angle measurement, ect.Then, base on above theory and analysis, the software design and implementation with ADSP-TS201S is presented, including its functions allacation, program flow and resource usage. Finally, after the design of the radar signal processor, it is tested in a lab environment with simulating echo. The experimental results show that the program design is correct and the design results meet the requirements. |
