The research on the stereoscopic display technology of integral imaging based on LCD combines the technology advantages of LCD and the merits of integral imaging, has an important significance. According to the basic structure of LCD and optical properties of micro-lens arrays, the following technical problems of the stereoscopic display system of integral imaging based on LCD are studied in this paper.Firstly, based on the demand of high-brightness, uniform luminance and ultra-thin structure of LCD backlight module, a new combination design method of light guide plate is proposed for LCD edge backlight module in this paper. Simultaneously, it avoids luminance 3D moirécaused by interference between the backlight module and the micro-lens arrays. Secondly, the influence of the optical parameters of micro-lens array on the resolution of image is analyzed in a certain depth range by using the geometrical optics theory, such as object distance, aperture and focal length. The paper selects the parameters of the micro-lens array and uses TracePro software to simulate the system. Finally, the periodicity of the color moirépattern is numerically analyzed by using the Fourier series expression of gratings transparency function for finding the optimal tilted of a micro-lens array where the moiréis minimum. Moreover, according to the simulation results of computational integrated imaging, the distance from the reconstructed image to the display is adjusted by properly choosing the focal length and vertical position of micro-lens array in this paper, and to ensure the quality of the reconstructed image.
