Transplantation Of Android To Mobile Terminal And Application Design

With the rapid development of mobile communication technology and semiconductor technology, mobile terminal is becoming an integrated information processing platform from just being a simple talking tool, which is very important for mobile office and business. Android is an open source OS of mobile terminal based on Linux. It owns advantages, such as open wider, functional expandability, and seamless integration of Google applications. Therefore, the prospect of Android is very bright.This purpose of this thesis is to transplant Android to mobile termina and develop Android. S3C6410 is selected as the core processor of the hardware platform, and the process of data encryption utilizes FPGA module.Firstly, the process of Android OS transplantation is described in this thesis, including porting Bootloader, porting Linux kernel, porting device drivers. Android was customized according functional requirements of the system, and the root file system was realized. What's more, designing and implementing the camera module of Android is elaborated after analyzing the camera module. In this module, the hardware abstract layer adopts V4L2 for video capturing, and video compression was achieved by JPEG coding process. Last but not least, the Two-dimensional Barcode recognition program was developed.for testing the camera moudle of the mobile terminal. It can quickly identify QR code and make the corresponding shortcut.According to the system test, the mobile terminal can work normally and performance stability. The user can quickly access to internet and make phone calls by scanning Two-Bar Code, and the expected functionality of the application is achieved.
