A Proactive Perception Agent Model Used In System Integration

There are still some interconnection and interoperability problems among the inheritance information systems. As for the characteristics of autonomy and inteligence. agent technology can be introduced into system integration to solve the flexible and dynamic problems in the process of system integration.This paper focuses on the design and implementation of a proactive perception agent model used in system integration. First. a complete research on and analysis of the traditional agent model and related technique is made.Then the design of our agent model is presented from different views. the architecture from static view. the task executation process from dynamic view and the wrapper mechanism from system integration view. Proactive perception is the main feather of this agent model and it is realized as two perceiving behaviror. the proactive perceiving bidding behavior and the proactive perceiving capability behavior. Based on this. we improve the traditional contract net protocol and acquaintance cooperation protocol. and combine them to be facilited in our agent system. Agent model's proactive perception characteristic shows good support for multi-agent collaboration and imbodies agent's charateristies of proactiveness and sensibility. and also satisfies the requirement of dynamic system integration.Finally. the agent model is applied in the Agent-based System Integration Tool. and has been tested with a case system. The result proves that it is not only feasible in system integration. but also offers a good support of collaboration among agents.
