| This treatise, which begins with the practical problems in the development of tracking radar systems, depicts an improved design of the electro-tracker for the radar system in order to improve the performance of tracking radar system.Tracking radar system consists of radar, the platform system, the electro-tracker and so on. Tracking radar system is very complex parameters of linear time-invariant control systems, particularly when there is the requirement of the substantial increase in system performance indicators, the difficulty of the design for tracking radar system is greatly increased. In this paper, it is used the method of combining of system analysis and system simulation to improve the design of the radar systems. This is a simple, practical design method, and uses filtering techniques such as Kalman filtering, so that the indicators of this system have been greatly improved. By the design of tracking radar system and the research of system simulation, it is selected and determined that the structure parameters of the electro-tracker and achieved the goal to improve the performance of tracking radar system, so that an optimal type of the electro-tracker, whose indicators are fully meet the requirement, has been realized.Firstly, through the model analysis of the design for tracking radar system, it has been given that the electronic tracking model, the radar equivalent model and platform equivalent model. And it has been also analyzed the key technology in the design of this system. Then, it is used the method of the combination of system analysis and system simulation to design the electro-tracker, and modify the structural parameter of the electro-tracker. At last, it has been made simulation test for the improved tracking radar system, to test whether the design can satisfy the requirement of the indicator or not.The improved electro-tracker has greatly improved the stability, tracking accuracy and tracking speed for the radar system. It can be used the DSP single-chip-computer to implement the electro-tracker, so that it will enable the electro-tracker have more smaller volume, more simpler to realize, and more easier to maintain and adjust the parameters. |
