With the social increasing demand for the development of the wireless communication systems, in the case of today's wireless spectrum is extremely scarce, how to improve the spectrum efficiency and improve the transmission performance of the channel has become a hotspot of the research. Among these researchs,how to establish the correct channel model is the key.Wireless communication systems have witnessed tremendous growth over the last decades, however, createing accurate and efficient channel model still remains one of the most challenging and important issues in modern wireless communications. Therefor this topic modeling and simulation two types of wireless channel including scalar and vector channel, in the hope of learning more about the space transmission performance of the wireless channel.In the first place, this paper reviews the development process of mobile communications, introduces the wireless channel modeling and simulation technology status and development trend of the future, explaines the significance of modeling and simulation of wireless channel, and analysis the wireless channel propagation characteristics in depth.After that, the paper introduces the Suzuki channel model as a reference model of the scalar channel, describes the modeling and simulation process of the Suzuki channel in detail, and makes a comparison between Rayleigh channel which is the traditional simulation model and Suzuki channel model.In the last place, the MIMO channel model which based on 3GPP LTE is selected for the study of modeling and simulation of the vectors wireless channel. The history and evolution of MIMO wireless channel and the spatial characteristics of MIMO wireless channel are discussed in detail, and MIMO wireless channel and the typical existing model is described and analyzed, at the same time the definition of MIMO channel parameters, modeling conditions, modeling and simulation process steps is also gived. The paper analysis and deduces the space-time correlation of the MIMO channel , makes a simulation for the established MIMO channel model by the use of matlab software, obtaines three-dimensional graphics and spatial correlation curve of the correlation coefficient, verifies the validity and accuracy of the model.
