The Mechanism Of Experts Knowledge And The Coordination Strategy In Ontology Construction

Development and popularity of Web technologies allow the level of Informatization Society to improve unprecedentedly.At the same time,based on traditional technology of Web portal,the way of information publish,retrieval and use is hard to meet the needs of internet users today, but the emergence of Semantic Web,which is regard as the next generation of web technology, provides a way to solve these problems.As a quality assurance of knowledge acquisition, knowledge interoperability and knowledge exchange,now ontology is an important emerging discipline,which has become popular areas of research in knowledge engineering, natural language processing,information,systems,intelligent system integration,knowledge management and so on.It provides a common understanding of knowledge for users and the wide range of heterogeneous application systems,to achieve the structure, organization and improvement of knowledge system.It has become a consensus that we constrct ontology with the help of domain experts,because in the process of constructing ontology, experts play a crucial role,they provide professional support and advice to pepole who construct ontology,in a some moment,they even have a dominant position.However, due to the difference of tacit knowledge between experts,there may be some conflicts,which could have an important influence on ontology construction work.This paper aims to study the mechanism of expert knowledge in ontology construction,by analyzing the role of effect,the way of effect and conflict,finding out the causes and types of conflicts,finally putting forward a coordination strategy to solve the conflicts between experts in ontology construction.In this paper,the first chapter introduces the background, significance of the topic and the situation of study.In the second chapter,I describe relevant theoretical knowledge,firstly there is a brief overview on the ontology theory, secondly the different methods of semi-automatic ontology construction are introduced and analyzed,and the general process of semi-automatic ontology construction is summarized, finally there is a introduction of expert knowledge The third chapter and fourth chapter are key and essential parts in this paper,they are the mechanism of expert knowledge in ontology construction and the coordination strategy in ontology construction.In the third chapter, for one thing, according to the process,I have a analysis on the role of effect,the way of effect,the depth of effect and the conflict of effect in expert knowledge, for another,there comes to the mechanism of expert knowledge and a map which express the mechanism.The participation of domain experts is the assurance of scientific,authoritative in ontology construction, expert knowledge plays a role in all aspects of ontology construction, but there are widespread conflicts. The fourth chapter first analyzes the causes of conflicts,types of conflicts and representation of conflicts, then put up the coordination principles of conflicts, there is a in-depth study for coordination strategy,respectively in the level of coordination, the method of coordination, excitation strategy of experts and coordination strategy.The fifth chapter is a summary of the previous four chapters,then it made the prospect in future research in this direction.Overall, this paper studies ontology construction from a new angle, I hope this paper could bring new inspiration for the work of ontology construction,and give service to the realization of the Semantic Web.
