Majority of observation-aiming systems on the moving base are multi-axes systems. Most multi-axis systems involve a main axis and the equipment which generates the axis is installed on the basic level of moving base directly. The tributary optical axises are fixed on the base indirectly. So Multi-axis Dynamic Synchronous Detection mainly refers to the synchronization between the tributary optical axises and the main optical axis. And in self-propelled weapon, the aiming, positioning and tracking of target could be achieved through the coordinated working of several optical axises. Therefore, the stability of multi-axis systems is extremely important. If the optical and mechanical frames are flexible and adjustable, the key skills of Multi-axis Dynamic Synchronous Detection is synchronous exposure of several cameras and synchronous acquisition and processing of several channels of video. In this thesis, two digital cameras are selected to capture the images of main axis and tributary axises. MCU of AVR system and CPLD are used to debug the cameras. GPS module is used to receive the standard time for the superposition of follow-up. Second pulse is used to control the synchronous. After analysis of the results of the experiment, both digital cameras can acquire image synchronously in external trigger mode at 30 frames / second.
