As the development of modern science and technology, all walks of life have more and more requirements about the physical and chemical properties of ceramic materials.The drying of ceramic body is an important manufacturing technique in the production process of ceramics, and its drying quality can directly affect the quality of porcelain products.In order to satisfy the drying requirements, people studied out a lot of new drying technique.Compared with traditional drying methods, airless drying which is came into use in recent years has the advantages of high efficiency, less energy, small environmental pollution, with wide application prospect and so on.Now, airless drying technique has widely used in drying the sanitary ceramics body and electrical porcelain body in abroad.In the year 2002, with the help of the national science and technology special fund, a domestic research institute began its study on airless drying. At the end of the year its research findings were used in a insulator production line of an enterprise and achieved good effects.However, the system which adopted the instrument control system at that time now exist many problems and can not satisfy the production and management requirements.It needs urgent improvement. Base on analyzing the airless drying theory and operational principle of the airless rapid dryer in detail, a reasonable and perfect computer control system is designed in this paper.Combine with the technical requirements of the airless drying and using OMRON PLC as the controlling Unit, this paper introduced the operational control of airless dryer and the control process of temperature, humidity in drying room. It also finished the system operational control and the PLC realization of drying temperature control.A set of high reliability and fault-tolerance operational interface is obtained using the InTouch configuration software. This interface is not only convenient for operators to supervise and control the production processes,but also it will be used to maintaining productive facility and accident handling.Furthermore,for the complex process of airless drying and frequent changes of process curve, a special temperature technology curve setting interface is designed in this paper, so the operator can easily set the temperature technology curve and meet different production requirements of the enterprise.
