| Harmonious socialist society requests people live harmoniously with each other and nature. Specific to media establishment, it need fully reflect humanistic care, take human as the main social unit, focus on people, satisfy people's reasonable requirements and realize human values. As an emotional communication tool and civilization carrying social institution, the media should not only disseminate the idea of humanistic care, but also reflect humanistic care from multi-levels and multi-angles. The emotional TV programs should take strong humanistic care as the purpose and concentrate on people's emotional life and real life, which reflects the deep intension of concerning the dignity of human personality and satisfying people's emotional requirements. However, affected by various factors, some emotional TV programs show pseudo-humanistic care while they hold the banner of humanistic care, which is against the original intention of making the programs. As a result, these kinds of programs lose public support gradually, so it's been an urgent task to think it over seriously.This paper takes emotional TV programs as research object and combines case study to analyze the emotional TV program"Seeking for Love"by applying literatures and referring to related literatures and materials.'Find Love in Mind'was a super popular emotional program broadcasted on the City Channel in Hunan. The research will first focus on the pseudo-humanistic care by inducing and summarizing its phenomenon. Then the harmfulness of it will be analyzed by using the knowledge of sociology and medium audience. Consequently, the suggestions will be put forward on making emotional TV programs return the good way based on humanistic care by combining media laws, rules, professional ethics and other related disciplines.This article consists of four parts:The first part introduces the rise and development of emotional TV programs. In addition, the definition of emotional TV programs will be made. All these programs will be classified according to their basic framework and dominant form. Meanwhile, the relationship between emotional TV programs and humanistic care, pseudo-humanistic care will be elaborated. It expresses certainly that emotional TV program appeared due to humanistic care, but on the other hand, pseudo-humanistic care is another reason for the birth of these programs.The second part takes"Seeking for Love"as a case analyzing the pseudo-humanistic care phenomenon in emotional programs in full range from the rational point of view. It will analyze from four respects: ignore legal rights of parties, blaspheme inner feelings of parties, impact audiences'vision and hearing indiscriminately and the harm caused to the parties and the impact on the audiences'social morality.The third part deeply analyzed the cause and harm of the overflowing pseudo-humanistic care in emotional TV programs. Driven by commercial interests under operation pattern of marketization, media staffs ignore the professional ethics. In addition, imperfect media laws and social management mechanism indulge media staffs'bad behavior. At last, the under media educated audience is another reason for frequent pseudo-humanistic care phenomenon.The fourth part provides practical solutions to pseudo-humanistic care. It requires the joint efforts from society, media and audience, the improvement of the laws, regulations and rules, the reinforcement of media staffs'capability, professional ethics, the improvement of media education for audience, the construction of long term monitoring mechanism. All these are key factors for building a harmonious, healthy media environment full with humanistic care. |
