The Smart Home System Based On ZigBee Wireless Communication Technology

Today, with the rapid development in network technology, more and more new science and technology came into being according to the people's pursuit and the intellgent home are closely related to family life has become a current hot topic. Through network technology intellgent home systems apply effective control to the information devices, information appliances and home security devices and enable them to exchange information, so that all kinds of household equipment can be integrated into a unified network control system. The home network will be connected to the Internet so that can be apply effective remote management and control on the system. The project concerned has become a current hot research project. This paper will analyse how to use the ZigBee wireless communication technology to build a comparatively complete intelligent home control system.Basing on the analysis on the domestic and international status of intellgent home system technology, taking into consideration the difficulties of the existing intellgent home system, such as complicated wiring, high cost, complex structure and so on. This paper will apply ZigBee wireless communication technology to the intellgent home, and propose a intelligent home system design that adopt ZigBee wireless communicational technology.First, this paper described in detail the present development of domestic and abroad intellgent home systems, and ZigBee wireless communication technology status of current development. And conducted a comprehensive and deep analysis of the ZigBee protocol framework and the layers protocol specification, and on this basis, build the ZigBee networks within the family, and completed the hardware / software design of the ZigBee network nodes within the family, selected the appropriate network topology, layed down a comparatively perfect subnet communication protocol and protocol commands.Secondly, this paper based on PC to design the home gateway module features for connectting home intranet and external Internet networks, combined with Java technology, programmed the home gateway applications, so as to achieve the tentative idea that take home gateway as the control center, and through the home gateway main page log in with a Web browser for remote controling intellgent home system equipment.Finally, as the paper designed the ZigBee technology-based intellgent home control system, achieved the function to remote control of home devices. Through further debugging and optimizing this system, it can be spreaded to common family to achieve the aim making family automated, intelligent and networking. The system has been designed equitably to achieve the expected goal basically.
