| With the coming of 3G times, the rapid development of mobile communication technology, the great improvement of the speed of network transmission, multimedia communication has become the inexorable development trend of mobile communication services, video browsing have already entered our life, especially 3G has provide sufficient bandwidth for video communications. To some extent, 3G age is the video age. As traditional voice service and message service can't meet people's requirements, the transmission of video image information already became the basic services that provided by the modern telecommunication system. The distinctive feature of video image processing is the gigantic quantity of data, especially for real-time video image transmission and browsing, enough processing speed is also needed. DSP can rapidly realize various digital signal processing algorithms as the basic digital signal processing hardware tool, and it has been widely used in many kinds of fields recently such as real-time image processing, image browsing image monitoring and so on.In the view of the development of modern communications and DSP technology, this paper designs the software of mobile telephone streaming media real-time image browsing platform based on TI fixed-point DSP chip TMS320DM647. The main function of this platform is to capture scene live video information, then process the video information in DSP image processing system, finally send the image across the network to mobile telephone users, get to a real time browse by users.RF5 and embedded operating system DSP/BIOS are both used in the software design. Considering the complexity of DSP application system, this paper adopts the improved"class/mini-driver model"to develop the drivers of video capturing, which allows software to reuse the program code in the high usage rate. H.264 encoding technology is used to realize the video image compression, which has greatly improved the operation efficiency and enable the real time video transmission.Users can use this browsing platform to know the situation what they want to know. Such as, outings visitors could inquire the weather condition of tourist attractions on the real time; Parents who is working can find out their children in the school or momentarily; the project members can monitor the situation and project progress though the phone in real-time. |
