The Research And Application Of ERP System For JIER Metal Structures Company

Manufacturing directly reflects a country's productivity level.Since the reform and opening up,as the main body of the national economy and the pillar industry, China's manufacturing industry has achieved remarkable success,but compared with the developed countries, there are still huge gaps in the manufacturing industry of China. To shorten the gap,we must explore the way to integrate industrialization and informatization with Chinese characteristics.If manufacturing enterprises of small and medium scale want to go the way to integrate industrialization and informatization,they must update management thoughts and reform management system at first,and it is imperative to introduce ERP systems to the enterprises' management. JIER metal structure company is a typical discrete manufacturing enterprise of small and medium scale which makes to orders.For the problems which exist in the management system of the company,we research and develope ERP system from the actual situation with economic and practical principles.It is an important reference for the construction of informatization in small and medium manufacturing enterprises,but also accumulate valuable experiences for the current SME informatization construction in China.The first chapter is an introduction, we first clarify the purpose andSignificance of this paper,and briefly introduce writing ideas,innovation,organizational structure and major jobs.The second chapter is divided into two parts.The first part is about the production introduction of the discrete MTO small manufacturing enterprises.At first we divide manufacturing enterprises into different production types based on production technology,production stability,repeatability of the same product and difference in organization of production;and then detailed analysis of characteristics of the discrete MTO manufacturing production process.The second part is about ERP technology.We illustrate the ERP concepts in 3 aspects which are management thinking,software products and management systems,and then reviews the historical development of ERP.Furtherly we elaborate on the various management modules.At last we show the success stories of the current Chinese enterprises ERP.The third chapter is about the planning and design of JIER metal structures company ERP system.We firstly make requirements analysis based on the JIER the various departments of the company's organizational structure,and propose objectives and principles of building ERP systems. At last we design the ERP system.The fourth chapter is about the application of ERP system of the JIER metal structure company,and then introduce results and feedback after the implementation of ERP,and improve the ERP system.The fifth chaper is the end,including conclusion and outlook.The main innovation of this paper include three points.The first point is carrying out its own ERP system under the company's business strategy and business needs. The second point is the emphasis on the role of employees and focusing on ease of ERP systems to achieve the goal of "friendly interface and easy to operate". The third is reserving space can be upgraded to expand.
