The object of this paper is to achieve inter-file cell phone transmission of the software system through Bluetooth by using real time OS(Operating System) -REX (Real Time Executive), which is based on Qualcomm's Binary Runtime Environment for Wireless (called BREW).Firstly, structural composition of BREW platform is analyzed. Secondly, the development of key technologies such as BREW event handling mechanism, object-oriented mechanism and callback mechanism are discussed. Thirdly, the basic composition of the Bluetooth techonology is discussed in detail. Fourthly, the realization of the principle of file transfer through bluetooth is addressed by program flowcharts. A series of procedure implementation, from establishing the FTP connection, configuring paths, obtaining folder lists and sending and receiving documents between the local system and the distal system, and finally to deleting and disconnecting, is analyzed detailedly. Fifth, the requirement analysis of various modules are formulated, and meanwhile, the design of whole system is also accomplished.Finally, the results of functional testing of the system show that the system successfully achieves the requirements of the demand.
