| With its interactivity on objects,flexible access features and high compression ratio,.MPEG-4 shows a great protentialities in multimedia application field in recent years among other video compression standards. MPEG-4 video compression standar- d.bases on simple framework and satisfies the coderate and video quality requireme- nt,can aquire a better video quality in the case of low coderate and high compression.This paper and studys motion estimation and texture information algorithms of encode and decode on the basis of analyzing MPEG-4 encoding and decoding structu- re.In these algorithms,the paper makes a in-depth research for variable length decode, anti scanning, frame DC/AC prediction, the quantization and IDCT. For motion com- pensation decoding, the first step is to extract from streaming sports information and work out the motion vectors, and then designs search algorithm. it designs coding and decoding module software modules on embeded system, and programs code to realize development of the video data acquisition, compression and decompression. Finally, it gets a compression ratio in 48:1 and PSNR of 32.65. This result achieves a ideal video effect. |
