A Method To Increase Cognitive Function In WCDMA System And Performance Analysis

With the social development and the advancement of technology, people demandfor wireless spectrum resource more and more. The wireless spectrum resource isbecoming increasingly scarce with the proposed new technology and the increaseingnew users.On the other hand, on the unreasonable use of radio spectrum resource, thespectrum often has a lot of idle state,which is not use by the other users. To reasonableand effective use of radio spectrum resource,and improving the utilization of wirelessspectrum,the concept of cognitive wireless network is propose.Through the cognitivewireless network,the secondary users can access into the network and use some idleradio spectrum which is not use by the primary users. In this paper, the WCDMAnetwork system and its calling protocol processing are researched,and,the content ofIEEE 1900.4 standard is also studied.Through the research of the above two aspects,thenew WCDMA system network which has a cognitive function is propose,and the newcalling potocol processing and the revelant interface are defined.Based on the proposednetwork system and the revelant protocols,the system simulation is designed throughthe developing software,which makes the system use the wireless spectrum channelmore rational.
