The advance of economic strength has contributed to the rapid development of urban construction in China, the high-energy consumption building in public buildings is increasing rapidly, so building energy conservation has become the focus of attention in society, and the corresponding public building energy monitoring system has become a research focus in academia. China urgently need to improve the statistical work of building energy monitoring, providing accurate energy consumption data in order to accurately describe the characteristics of China's building energy consumption.According to the technical specifications of energy monitoring system for state office buildings and large public buildings, the key technologies of the data collecting device of electric energy consumption for public buildings will be research in this article. Collection, processing, storage and upload of the electric energy consumption of different items for public buildings are realized by the technologies of AVR, ARM, RS485, NAND FLASH, and TCP/IP and so on. The experimental platform of public building energy monitoring system which includes hardware and software is set up. The experimental platform provides an effective monitoring tool for data collecting of building energy conservation, and provides data for energy optimization of control system.Firstly, this article discusses basic composition and characteristics of public building energy monitoring system experiment platform, and overviews a variety of related technologies briefly. In the part of electricity consumption data collection, in order to set up data acquisition module, ATmega64 which is produced by ATMEL is selected as microcontroller. Single Phase Electronic Energy Meter DDSF1352 and Static Single-phase energy meter DDS28 are used as metering device of acquisition module. RS485 is used to collect data which is from communication signals of metering device. Then the data which is stored in NAND FLASH in the form of binary can be queried and used by data processing module easily. In the part of treatment of electric energy consumption, in order to set up data processing module, LM3S8962 which is produced by Luminary is selected as microcontroller. Connection between data processing module and data acquisition module is realized by RS485. The original data of electricity consumption will be getting. Then the data which is stored in SD card in the form of XML documents can be queried and used by users easily. In order to make technical preparations for continued development, this article also discusses the way of connection between data processing module and data center. Remote transmission and Resume broken transfer functions are realized by TCP/IP. Data center can obtained electricity consumption data through Internet, and share electric energy consumption data in the different place.The Data collector includes collection of the electric energy consumption of different items, storage of energy consumption data, treatment of energy consumption data and remote transmission by Internet. Open interfaces, open protocol and other characteristics, so that collector has good scalability. Thus it can be applied to building energy monitoring system composed of an integrated network monitoring platform.
