The Design And Implementation Of Hotel Information Management System Based On Java

Nowadays, with the rapid development of science and technology, the computers have become more and more popular, and in people's daily life computers are used more and more, therefore, computers have played very important role in people's work and life. And with the population, the requirement of computers has become higher and higher. Especially in the big and middle enterprises, their requirements of computers are different to each other, but having the same aim, which is to solve the difficulties in the management work. In order to solve the difficulties and improve the management level and work efficiency, according to their own characteristics, many companies integrate advanced management ideas with computers to form the human-computer interaction management system with the managers being its center. And the human-computer interaction has become the essential driving force of enterprise development,In reality, we usually refer to management information systems, which often use computers to collect or store the managed data. These systems can be used in some organizations, governments and enterprises, to form "human-computer system", which was generated in post-industrial economy. In the first development age, enterprise management information system is only the "human-computer system".Now, in our country, many small hotels have not used management information system, and even some large hotels only use stand-alone operation. This kind of management is not scientific at all, and the work efficiency is hard to be improved, not to extract good benefits. In today's Internet age, still using the original manual mode to release information, we will not achieve better results at all. And only using computers without network to manage, it is only stand-alone operation, which can not directly contact with customers outside world. We can believe that with the popularization of computers, the network of management system must be the development trend.After the above analysis, hotel information management was system presented in this paper. The main work includes:(1) System Requirements Analysis. Firstly, detailed study of the characteristics and the development of information management system; secondly, divide the system to 9 functional modules, and give a simple summary for each module.(2) Detailed design of the system. Firstly, determine the implementation objectives of the system, and select system operation platform; secondly, give the outline design of the system, including network design and system architecture design; thirdly, according to the principle, divide the system into number of subsystems; finally, detailed design the database.(3) The realization of the system. According to the detailed Use-Case diagrams of each function module and program flows, use development tools to achieve the various subsystems, including the room inquiry system, the customer booking system, check system, records management system, a room to adjust the system, to check out the system, human resources systems, room management system and archive management system, and so on.(4) System testing. There are non-functional testing and functional testing for each function module.This system has the following characteristics:(1) Real-time. When the system is clicked and operated quickly, there will not be delays, the system responses smoothly.(2) Understandability. For users, the system is easily to be understood and operated.(3) Availability. The target functions of the system are complete to fully meet the business needs.(4) Reliability. It can processes business very accurately, and has the ability to handle with some errors.(5) Maintainability and adaptability. The system is easy to be modified and maintained, being able to adapt to the changing business needs.(6) Security confidentiality. Our system can ensure the security and confidentiality when data being stored, accessed and transformed. For users with different permissions, it can well distinguish and limit.In this study, using Eclipse to be the development tool, and DB2 to be the database development tool, the hotel information management system was established by JAVA language, and the main function modules were realized. Our system has new and convenient features. Through functional testing and non-functional testing, the usefulness of the system is demonstrated.
