The Study Of Web-based Materials And Equipments Management System For General Construction Contractor

In recent years, China's construction industry has maintained a high production value, occupies an important position in the national economy, and with a gradual increase of building standards, there is more and more intense competition in the construction industry. Costs on materials and equipments of General Contractor Construction account for a large proportion of materials and equipments. To enhance materials and equipments management is a key element of production cost control. However, the traditional management of materials and equipments is inefficient, and has serious waste problem, which created a significant threat to the survival of the enterprise. Web-based management information system as an advanced technology will permeate all aspects of materials and equipments management, comprehensive and efficient materials and equipments management systems which throughout the construction achieves real dynamic management, forms model of materials and equipments information system.Based on Web technology, the paper designed a materials and equipments management information system of general contracting construction enterprise. The system is divided into two levels by user rights, namely, enterprise and project level, then it will help to improve the operational efficiency of the project, but also conducive to general contracting enterprise of improving integrated management of equipments and materials for various projects, and optimize the process of materials and equipments management. Through the establishment of information systems to enhance information exchange, strengthening the internal turnover of materials and equipments of construction general contracting enterprise, reduce waste, improve material management efficiency and effectiveness.Materials and equipments systems including basic information, material and equipments requirements planning management, supplier management, material procurement management, equipments leasing management, and materials storage management, equipments operation management, material and equipments ledger management, the system implement strict scientific management to various types of enterprise assets, give full play to the performance of assets, minimize the amount of funds occupied to guarantee the production and operation activities carried out smoothly. The system take the principle of uniting the material management and the value management, providing a standardized fixed asset information management system to the enterprise.
