However, because of the high expense of equipments and the complexity of setting up, the traditional analog control model gradually withdrew from the monitoring market. With the rapid popularization of the Internet and the innovation of the embedded technology, a new network video surveillance monitoring mode came into being, Combining with the network technology and the embedded technology, the cost of monitoring systems was greatly reduced and the performance significantly improved.Based on the analysis of the results of the previous research on network video surveillance system, the Database and Web server technology was used into the video surveillance system, thus a network video surveillance system that can make Identity authentication presented in this paper. The system is based on B/S mode, the user should make identity authentication through the browser interface, then log in. If access, it sends the request of the video viewing to the Web server, which will display the video signal that the camera captured in the user's browser dynamically so as to achieve the purpose of monitoring.This system uses S3C2440A, manufactured by Samsung and whose system architecture is ARM, as a processor, a reduction of the Linux 2.6 version as an embedded operating systems running on the hardware platform. This paper introduces the characteristics and development trends of the embedded technology and the video surveillance, and then focuses on the software design. For the software part, the process of the embedded Linux platform construction and the implementation of the USB camera driver are first introduced, and then the implementation principle of the embedded database SQLite and the embedded Web server, finally it presents the design of the user browser and log-in interface and the preparation of Server CGI programs.Through the LAN test, the results show that the system can take a real-time monitoring for the locations on purpose. The pictures are clear and affluent. This meets the intended target, also has practical value. |
