The Project Of Baoding DWDM Local Transmission Network

Nowadays, the process of information socialization pushes the high speed development of communication industry. How to utilize the transmission network resources, the key to decided the telecom service development, construct new high capacity transmission platform, and build new transmission network suitable for all kinds of services to meet social and businesses demands has become urgent.The BaoDing branch corporation of original China Netcom is on a key position in HeBei Corporation, the importance of transmission network is self-evident. To adjust to the growing transmission and the expansion of the service, BaoDing City transmission network is keeping on expansion and optimization. The BaoDing branch corporation have constructed many SDH transmission networks with four central nodes:Dongfeng road, Yuhua road, Hezuo road and Gaokaiqu. Alonging with the informationization of society, the existing transmission network is already going to saturation and not to fulfill the developing service. So it is need to construct a new transmission network to fulfill kinds of services. After comparation of many transmission technologies, we find that the DWDM transmits different wavelengths in one optical fiber, it makes the transmission capacity increased to several or hundrid times of it and reduced the transmission cost. The DWDM technology has nothing to do with the signal speed, it is convenient to lead the new services about broad band and digit, and compatibal with different equipment of different systems and factories. At last, we decide to construct a local transmission network which basic on DWDM.There are five chapters in this paper. Firstly, transmission network structure now available in BaoDing is introduced; analyzing on equipments setting of transmission network, open services and requirement of market, service demands are predicted in a scientific way; according to the prediction and DWDM theory, considering the whole network of branch corporation in BaoDing, new 5 DWDM circles have been decided to built on the technology of DWDM, to provide GE circuit path for the data services for all districts. Based on WDM transmission system engineering design standard and technical specification, DWDM engineering for BaoDing local transmission network is designed.To construct and speed the network by the use of DWDM technology will enhance the services for bandwidth providing, services adaptability.
