| Currently, a variety of service enablers, such as CPM, Presence, Multi-media conference, POC and so on, are supported by IMS service system. The process of each service associated with its service infrastructure respectively. One client for one service results in many issues, such as poor user experience of converged services, redundancy of service functions, duplication development for client side and other issues. On client side of IMS service system, component-based converged client provides a good solution for above problem. Converged client integrates similar service process and function, and makes the existing clients as components by abstract their service interfaces. Converged client provides users with converged services experience, good service expansion and deployment flexibility.On the basis of existing IMS service system, this thesis studies the requirement on client side of the converged service system, and then designs and implements the component-based converged client which solved the above problems. This paper analyzes the function of Converged Client and divides it into three parts:basic function components, IMS service function components and converged client framework function. Interfaces and interactions of functional components have brought up, and several core components have been implemented. Converged client has been tested and validated, and has been applied in IMS services systems. This thesis firstly analyses the requirements of client side of the IMS services system, and summarize the functions and services which should be integrated in the converged client. And then, this thesis introduces the requirements analysis for the client, the design and implementation several main components. At last, the client functions are tested, and the test results prove that the functionalities and performance of component-based converged client meet the requirements. |
