| At present, internet business has emerged as the biggest growth point in the communication service market, which has stimulated the competition between companies, and thus the service of quality tends out to be the key for their survival and success. In this sense, in order to satisfy the demands of different communication companies for outgoing access and profits growth, the assessment and quality maintenance of internet work is an important issue which needs to be addressed immediately.This thesis, drawn from the basic theories of quality evaluation of Internet End-to-end as well as network quality test, aims to analyze the condition of internet work quality and methods for internet test, elaborating on the internet performance index system theory, including the content of the performance index, models of different levels, as well as the test points.Based on the systematic introduction about the test methods at all the levels, this thesis designs a multi-level comprehensive test plan, including net layer, transport layer, and application layer. The test plan, according to the actual network quality problems, set up test index, like test terminal's Internet Service Provider (ISP) and spots and so on. Through the test on each layer as well as the systematic analysis of test data, the network quality can be checked. Based on this plan, this thesis then presents an end-to-end test system for the networks, elaborating on the requirement analysis, general outline, and detailed design accordingly. Meanwhile, this thesis finishes the unit test on system function, and simulates the performance parameters of the attenuation server by artificial setup, like delay, packet loss, and port and so forth, evaluating the accuracy of each function module; it runs the system in the internet, and the acquired monitoring data proves that the system is capable of solving the network quality barrier problems. |
